Terms of Service
These Terms set the rules for using OfflinePDFTools's privacy-first PDF tools, account features, and paid plans.
Last updated: July 20, 2026
Agreement
These Terms govern your use of OfflinePDFTools. By accessing the website, using the PDF tools, creating an account, or purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
If you use OfflinePDFTools on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
The service
OfflinePDFTools provides browser-first PDF tools for tasks such as compressing, merging, splitting, rotating, extracting, watermarking, and converting files.
The core tools are designed to process files locally in your browser. Account, billing, support, and optional future features may use server-side systems, but the core PDF processing model is local unless a feature clearly says otherwise.
Acceptable use
You may not use OfflinePDFTools to break the law, violate others' rights, distribute malware, abuse infrastructure, bypass technical limits, reverse engineer protected service systems, or interfere with other users.
You are responsible for the files you process and for confirming that you have the rights and permissions needed to use, modify, or share them.
Accounts
Some features may require an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for activity under your account.
We may suspend or limit access if we reasonably believe an account is being used for abuse, fraud, security attacks, payment evasion, or violation of these Terms.
Plans, credits, and payments
OfflinePDFTools may offer one-time credit packs and recurring subscription plans. The price, included credits, billing period, usage rules, expiration rules, and available features are displayed before purchase.
Payments completed through Creem are processed by Creem as Merchant of Record. Creem handles payment processing, customer invoicing, applicable indirect taxes, refunds, disputes, and chargebacks for those transactions. OfflinePDFTools does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers.
One-time credit packs
One-time credit packs are charged once and do not renew automatically. Customers may purchase the same credit pack more than once. Credits are added only after successful payment confirmation. Credits are associated with the purchasing account and may not be transferred, resold, or exchanged for cash.
One credit is used when a signed-in customer starts a premium processing run that exceeds the free tool limits. Runs within the free limits use no credits.
Purchased credits do not expire.
Annual subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are charged in full for the annual billing period shown at checkout and renew automatically once per year until canceled. Any monthly equivalent price is displayed for comparison only and is not a monthly billing schedule.
Customers may cancel an annual subscription through their OfflinePDFTools billing settings or the Creem Customer Portal. Cancellation prevents the next renewal. Unless otherwise stated or required by law, cancellation does not automatically refund the current paid period.
Monthly subscription credits
Monthly subscription credits refresh according to the customer’s plan while the annual subscription remains active.
Monthly plan credits do not roll over and refresh to the plan allowance each month.
Refunds
Refund requests should be sent to support@offlinepdftools.com. Refund eligibility depends on the product purchased, whether credits or paid features have already been used, the circumstances of the request, applicable law, and Creem’s payment and risk requirements.
Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method. Credits or access associated with a refunded, reversed, or disputed payment may be removed or disabled.
No professional advice
OfflinePDFTools is a document utility. It does not provide legal, financial, tax, medical, compliance, archival, or security advice.
You are responsible for reviewing output files before relying on them, filing them, signing them, publishing them, or sending them to others.
Availability
We aim to keep OfflinePDFTools fast and reliable, but the service is provided on an as-available basis. Browser behavior, device memory, file size, operating system limits, extensions, and network conditions can affect results.
We may update, limit, suspend, or discontinue features when needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or product changes.
Intellectual property
OfflinePDFTools, its interface, branding, copy, design, and software are owned by OfflinePDFTools or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the service to you.
You retain your rights in the files you process. Using local tools does not give OfflinePDFTools ownership of your documents.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent allowed by law, OfflinePDFTools is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.
We do not guarantee that every PDF will process perfectly, that output will preserve every feature of a source document, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Liability limits
To the maximum extent allowed by law, OfflinePDFTools will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost documents, business interruption, or replacement services.
Where liability cannot be excluded, liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to OfflinePDFTools for the affected service in the three months before the claim or USD 100.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the product changes. The updated page will show the latest effective date. Continued use of OfflinePDFTools after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Support
Customers should contact support@offlinepdftools.com for product, account, payment, cancellation, or refund assistance. OfflinePDFTools aims to respond within three business days.
