Privacy Policy
OfflinePDFTools is built around a simple promise: everyday PDF work should happen on your device whenever possible, not in a stranger's cloud.
Last updated: July 20, 2026
Core privacy model
OfflinePDFTools is designed as a browser-first PDF toolkit. The core PDF tools run locally in your browser, and the documents you choose for those tools are not uploaded to OfflinePDFTools servers for processing.
Your browser may hold files in memory while a tool is open. When you close the tab or clear the workspace, the local working copy is discarded by the browser environment.
Account and credit data
If a customer creates an account or purchases paid access, OfflinePDFTools may store the customer’s email address, account identifier, authentication records, credit balance, plan, purchase history, subscription status, and usage records needed to operate the paid service.
Free PDF tools can be used without an account. An account is required only to purchase credits, manage paid access, view payment status, or use account-based premium features.
Payment processing
Purchases completed through Creem are processed by Creem as Merchant of Record. Creem may process customer identity, contact, billing, payment, transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, refund, dispute, and subscription information.
OfflinePDFTools does not receive or store customers’ complete payment-card numbers. OfflinePDFTools may receive customer identifiers, order identifiers, subscription identifiers, product information, payment status, refund status, dispute status, billing period information, and other metadata needed to provide purchased credits and account access.
Documents
The contents of PDF files processed by the core browser tools are not uploaded to OfflinePDFTools servers. Billing and account systems do not need access to document contents.
We do not sell, analyze, train on, or intentionally store the contents of documents processed by the local PDF tools.
Support messages
When a customer contacts support, OfflinePDFTools may process the customer’s email address, message contents, and attachments. Customers should not email sensitive PDF files unless necessary and understood.
Cookies and local storage
OfflinePDFTools may use cookies, local storage, or similar browser storage for sessions, preferences, plan state, security, and interface settings.
You can clear browser storage at any time. Clearing it may sign you out, reset preferences, or remove local app state.
Service providers
OfflinePDFTools uses Creem for payment processing and Merchant of Record services; Supabase for authentication, account data, billing records, and support records; Resend for transactional authentication-email delivery; Google Identity Services when a customer chooses Google sign-in; and Vercel to host and deliver the website and server routes.
These providers receive only the data needed for their service functions. The core browser tools do not send PDF document contents to them.
Retention
Local document working data is controlled by your browser session. Account, billing, support, and security records may be retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward where needed for operations, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal obligations.
You may request deletion of account-related data where applicable. Some records may need to be retained if required for security, accounting, or compliance.
Security
OfflinePDFTools uses a privacy-by-design architecture that reduces the need to transmit sensitive files. We also use reasonable technical and organizational measures for account and service data.
No system is perfectly secure. Use caution with highly sensitive documents and keep your browser, operating system, and device security up to date.
Your choices
You can use local PDF tools without providing documents to a server. You can avoid signing in if you do not need account features. You can clear local browser storage, revoke sessions, and request access or deletion of account data where applicable.
If you have a privacy request, email support@offlinepdftools.com and include enough information for us to identify the relevant account.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. If changes materially affect how personal data or documents are handled, the updated page will reflect the new effective date.
